Excellent quality and very comfortable. More comfortable than regular sunglasses.
I have had three pairs of Clic sunglasses over the last sixteen years; they have been incredible. I have thoroughly enjoyed my Clics so much that when I broke the first pair, after six years, I immediately bought another pair. When I broke the last lens, of that pair, I bought new lenses and a pair of Clic Sunglasses II, since they no longer made the originals.
I have once again gone through the lenses on my Clics, after repairing them for years, and was thrilled to see that they were making Clic sunglasses again. I bought a pair of the Aviator sunglasses and am thrilled with them.
I like the look of aviator glasses in general and the Clic Aviators will work for me, but with a couple of limitations: The band that wraps around the back will be cumbersome at times for women, as it will get tangled with hair or necklaces. It's kind of like wearing a bent coat hanger on your shoulders. Not a big deal, but something to be aware of. The other, and far more irritating limitation is with Exercise. I thought the band would allow me to wear my aviators while running, however, I instantly learned that with every few steps, the band would be propelled forward and the glasses would then slide down to the end of my nose.. Hugely irritating (and probably comical to watch!). I did not want to return home to leave the glasses, and they are too bulky to carry in my hand after removing them since they don't fold up with the band. So I threaded the band under the t-strap on the back of my running shirt and let them bounce on my shoulder blade for the entire run! Needless to say, I won't make the mistake of bringing my Clics on a run ever again! For everyday wear, they're honestly fine. The width of the frame is a little narrower than other styles, which seems like they're more suitable to a woman's face than to a man's.
While I was initially excited to wear my new shades, the love subsided when the rhs magnet came unglued. So I will send them back and exchange them for some wraparound shades.
I have several readers and this has never happened to them. Hence moving towards a different style to escape the voodoo.
